2020 Le sourire de Rita Renoir
En 2020 à l’invitation de Marc Turlan et Jean-Pierre Blanc, j’ai participé au festival NU2 sur l’île du Levant. Durant ma «résidence» j’ai réalisé une série de photographies ayant comme modèle Nathan Gombert qui est un danseur du Ballet National de Marseille (LA)HORDE. J’ai découvert la maison et le fantôme de Rita Renoir, personnage dont j’ignorais tout. Cette artiste étonnante et en partie effacée aujourd’hui était effeuilleuse, actrice, chorégraphe… Cette série de photographies lui est adressée en hommage posthume.
In 2020, at the invitation of Marc Turlan and Jean-Pierre Blanc, I participated in the NU2 festival on the Ile du Levant. During my "residency" I made a series of photographs with Nathan Gombert as a model, who is a dancer of the Ballet National de Marseille (LA)HORDE. I discovered the house and the ghost of Rita Renoir, a character I knew nothing about. This amazing artist, who has been partially erased today, was a stripper, an actress, a choreographer... This series of photographs is addressed to her as a posthumous tribute.
